Abul Ahsan Mahmud

For me, this is always an interesting paragraph to write. It's probably not because I don't know anything about me, I probably know a little. It's more because I have spent a lot of time doing a lot of different things in my life. I was a professional gamer, played in a band for 4 years, traveled to 21 countries, freelanced for more than 5 years, watched more than 500 movies and tv series. However, the one thing that remained constant throughout the past decade is my passion for solving things and having something of my own.

Yes, I coded! But admit it, no one really likes coding. You like the problem, you like the journey to finding a solution and finally of course you love what you have created. During my relative long career I have worked with languages like Java, PHP, .NET, Javascript, Typescript, Kotlin and countless frameworks to the point that I now consider myself Language Agnostic.

During my freelancing time, I have worked on more than 40 projects with clients from around the world. I moved to Berlin and now I am working as a Software Engineer at Zalando, one of the biggest ecommerce platforms in Europe.

I have completed my Bachelors in Computer Science from BRAC University and done my Masters in Software Systems Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
